The usage method and product selection of the online ion electrode method ammonia nitrogen – nitrate nitrogen analyzer
Date:2025-02-15 Views: 14

Measurement principle
The Lyter series sensors measure the concentrations of nitrate nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen in water by using the ion-selective electrode method. They directly detect the nitrate concentration in the water environment through the nitrate ion-selective electrode and determine the ammonia nitrogen concentration by directly detecting the ammonium ions in the water environment through the ammonia ion-selective electrode. The sensor uses a pH electrode as the reference electrode, thereby achieving better stability. Because the measurement results are easily affected by interfering ions, when the concentration of interfering ions in water is relatively high, the online measurement system can adopt the automatic ion compensation function to achieve the best measurement effect.
The nitrate nitrogen sensor is composed of a nitrate ion electrode, a chloride ion electrode (optional), and a PH/T electrode, which together form an integrated sensor. These parameters can mutually correct the measurement values of nitrate nitrogen and simultaneously achieve multi-parameter measurement.
The ammonia nitrogen sensor is composed of an ammonium ion electrode, a potassium ion electrode (optional), and a PH/T electrode to form an integrated sensor. These parameters can mutually correct the measured values of ammonia nitrogen and simultaneously achieve multi-parameter measurement.
Key points for Use
1. Ensure the cleanliness of the surface of the electrode single crystal film.
2. If dirt is found adhering to the surface, it can be rinsed with water or gently wiped with soft fine paper. If the dirt still cannot be removed, it can be soaked in 3% dilute hydrochloric acid for a few seconds and then wiped with soft fine paper. After maintenance, the electrode needs to be placed in pure water for maintenance.
3. In measurement environments with sensitive interfering ions, please add compensating electrodes and calibrate the electrodes regularly to enhance measurement stability and accuracy.
4. The Lyter series ammonia nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen sensors adopt independent measuring electrodes and reference electrodes, which only need to be replaced specifically, reducing usage and maintenance costs.
5. It is equipped with the UC1000 series universal controller, which is built with multiple measurement factors. The product has passed the EU CE certification and the US FCC certification.
